You will be required to wear a formal uniform to every shift consisting of a white button down shirt, all black tie, black dress pants, black shoes, black belt, and preferably black socks. (Similar to Best Buy’s “Geek Squad” or a “Banquet hall” worker) Depending on the location, and customer wishes some specifics may vary, as in a white shirt with black tie. The primary purpose of this position is to assist customers, park their vehicle, and be a visible representative of the establishment we provide services for. After parking the vehicle, the attendant will fill out the valet ticket and run back to their station and be prepared to assist the next patron. We are looking for some people dedicated to the position, and willing to learn the business. The special candidates will be courteous, polite, well mannered, behaved, neatly groomed, with a valid driver’s license, and someone who knows how to drive a stick shift transmission. All Valet Attendants are required to: * Have a minimum level of education, high school diploma or GED is necessary. * Have your own transportation (good running vehicle) * Have experience working in customer service (hotel, call center, catering/banquet hall is a+) * Over the age of 21 (For Insurance Purposes) *Wear company stated attire for their shifts (uniform) Duties and responsibilities: *To maintain a professional image for our client establishments and be a visible representative of or business. *To assist any and all patrons in any way we can *To park their vehicle in a safe manner, ensuring its safety at all times *To run back to the valet station as quickly as possible, ensuring that customers will not have to wait for service *To get along well with their coworkers and enjoy their job *Keep area clean, neat, and stocked full of Valet material Physical demands: * Standing up to or at least 8 hours a day * Running up to 50 yards, 35 times a day or more * Entering and exiting customers vehicles 75 or more times daily * Lifting wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, gifts, etc. (in and out of customers vehicles) * Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers * Keeping cross talk and talk about customers to themselves *Neat in appearance and professional in manner at all times Work environment: Mostly outdoors for the duration of the shift. Inclement weather (hot, cold, precipitation, etc) will have a significant impact on the employees work environment.
